JiveSwing at Lister Charity Fun Day

JiveSwing’s Charlie’s Angels, a 20 strong, all-female dance troupe, were invited to perform at the Lister Charity Fun Day in Hatfield, to raise funds for Lister Hospital. The Charity were aiming to donate proceeds to the Neo-natal unit, within the Lister Hospital Maternity Unit. .

The six Angels, Megan, Jodie, Kate, Emily and Sarah, wow’d the audience, when they performed an energetic Jazz Routine on what was a blazing summers day.

The girls enjoyed the day, before being sped of to their next gig in London, that afternoon.. A world wind visit… All in a days work… All in aid of a good cause .. :-)

JiveSwing At Village Green Festival

Nicola Wood, JiveSwing’s event Project manager stated.. “A very different Village Green for me this year, but an amazing day leading the JiveSwing vintage tent with an awesome team! So much fun helping Alex Gall teach packed swing dance classes all day, stepped in as an impromptu compare for the fashion show, and finished in style with the wonderful My Favourite Things taking the stage and everyone watching.. “

JiveSwing at Fling Festival 2014

JiveSwing teacher Steve Merchant, armed with his right hand partner Jodie Sharman, travelled to introduce to innocent bystanders and revellers, at the annual Fling Festival this year. The Fling, attracting thousands of people each year and held in the same park as the V Festival, in Chelmsford, saw lots of budding dancers flock to the  dance tent where steve taught a series of Lindy Hop and Charleston Classes.

The organisers and everyone watching, were very happy, as they saw festival goers, aided by Michael Willis, Sam Rummey and supporting dancers from local JiveSwing classes,  infect everyone with their enthusiasm. :-)
