Dear Diary...
I need to make sure that this year I don't miss out on the spectacular JiveSwing.Com Christmas Ball on..

Now in it's 8th consecutive year, the ball sells out every year, where in December 2007, 400 dancers attended and nearly 100 people where turned away to avoid overcrowding. This year it's limited to only 350, so I've been checking LATEST NEWS to keep myself updated.
This year will be no exception as I hear that JiveSwing.Com have
again secured the very exclusive HAILEYBURY with an exquisite fully floored ballroom. The venue is set in 500 acres of land and famous for it's 200 year old history and links with British Aristocracy.

I need to make sure that I buy the most exclusive dress so I'm bell of the ball and have my photos taken. I think this year the theme is "ULTIMATE GLAMOUR" wear your best gowns ladies!
I also need to find a date and get him 'scrubbed up' to make sure he looks smart and groomed in his formal attire ...Tuxedos and penguin suits are in order guys! |

'King Groovy and the Horn Stars and CABARET FROM... 'Swing Attack'
Plus those added extras such as a complimentary buffet, which results in an exciting and fun packed evening and one that I've told all my friends about because I don't want them to miss out on this special event either!
The evening will be hosted by "Joseph & Trisha"
I also hear the DJ line up is awesome. It includes the UK's top Swing, JIve and Blues DJ's, plus resident Jive, Smooth Latin & WCS DJ, "Paul Miles", Simon Ridley from the Party Weekender and also Swingville's very own swing DJ "The Wright Stuff" creating a nice mixture of music for all.
I've got my family and friends around for Christmas, who are non dancers, but as all my dance friends are going. I hear that its OK to bring them along so, I've booked a VIP Table for all 10 of us, as they will enjoy the band and entertainment and I'll get an additional FREE ticket. BUY 10 and get 11tickets..WOW the sales have started early!
Finally I hear that there is ALL NIGHT DANCING and a FREE BUFFET ..we can dance till we drop as we will have some food to keep our energy levels going..WOW..no ball has ever offered all that!

"KING GROOVY AND THE HORN STARS"
One of London's most exciting new bands, King Groovy and the Horn Stars was formed in late 2005.
Having played at both Jive and Swing dance events across the country, they know exactly what to play at the right tempos, to keep EVERYONE on the dance floor..
Having hand picked some of the most talented musicians from across the city, the Horn Stars features the traditional 18 piece big band line-up of five saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets, a rhythm section of piano, drums, bass and guitar, plus vocalist.
The band has a wide repertoire of numbers from swing classics through to Latin, jazz and funky styles. The Horn Stars guarantee good music and a great atmosphere.
