CLASSES IN DETAIL... |
|
STARTS AT 8:30 - 9:20pm
We will be cover the key fundamental moves of the Lindy Hop. You will be rotated around every few minutes so that you can practice and meet others.
You'll leave with at least 3 - 4 simple moves that you can use straight away to impress your friends. By the end of the term, you may not be a world champion, but you'll be able to dance a whole track confidently. |
| |
|
|
STARTS AT 9:20 - 10:10pm
Here you'll build upon the fundamental moves already learnt. We will teach you a number of variations, assuming you know the basics; Lindy Turn, Circles and Charleston.
You will learn more challenging footwork and moves to enhance your social dancing, whilst improving style, lead & follow techniques.
From time to time, we will use the second class to focus on the really energetic and acrobatic side of Lindy Hop, particularly for performances.
These classes are optional and will be advertised well in advanced. Previous Lindy Hop, experience required here.

IMPROVE YOUR DANCING
Practicing is the best way to improve your Lindy Hop. Social dancing is where you can experiment with what you've learnt in class
and know that it works!
You will become more familiar with Swing music and dance with people who are more experienced and can help you. You can do this on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. |
