As an engineer, by day for a major water works company, Alison has no hesitation in piping up!
Alongside her passion for Lindy Hop, Alison has a background in drama and a keen focus on Authentic Jazz movement, which adds to the fun and dynamics in her classes and on the social dance floor.
In addition to being though the extensive JiveSwing.Com Teacher Training Course(s), she has learnt from the best international Swing Dance teachers at GNSH and other major international Swing Dance Camps in the USA and Europe.
She teaches weekly Lindy Hop classes and workshops in Hertfordshire and Essex, but has also taught and performed for organisors across the UK, as part of the UK's latest Authentic Jazz dance group,'Swing Attack'
Regarding competition credits, Alison took 2nd place in the Prague International Lindy Hop Competition 2009 and competed in one of the worlds toughest competitions, the 'Hellzappopin Contest' 2009 held in New York.
