Teacher Training Courses

Joseph has become well known for his high calibre of teaching and teacher training. He has successfully trained all JiveSwing teachers to swing dance and teach from scratch, some of whom have now gone on to teach and perform all over the UK and Europe.

He has studied an MA HR, majoring in Training and Development, backed by his background as an MC, public speaking and his 15 years of teaching, provides the right mix to do the job.

In addition to being contracted as the dance teacher in schools, he was also been commissioned for 3 consecutive years,to attend a 'A Level' Dance Teachers convention to educate and train the A Level teachers on Swing Dancing and discuss syllabus.

He has also been contracted to succesfully delivered teacher training to dance schools in Europe.

Ocassionally, JiveSwing have run invitation only courses, but can bring a course to your school. if you are interested in learning how to teach dance, particuarly Swing Dance contact us

JiveSwing Teacher Training Programme

All JiveSwing teachers undertake an extensive 3 year teacher training program, with full support and ongoing learning and mentoring, to meet a set of JiveSwing competences.

This will consist of classroom and on the job training, allowing them to competently learn, while you earn and teach anyone from absolute beginners to advanced dancers.
