Learn The Moves, Technique and Style

This workshop has been organised by popular demand !!
It is designed for dancers at ANY level wishing to learn new and creative partnered charleston moves, this workshop will be fun, energetic and challenging.

This exciting 20's Charleston, as seen on Strictly dance fever, has seen a popular revival worldwide. It's fun and very easy to learn and has lots of steps that can be added to your current repertoire.

The Charleston dance became very popular during the Ragtime-Jazz period, and was danced by movie stars such as Joan Crawford and Ginger Rogers, however we understand that it's roots are in African dance.

By the end of this workshop, you will learn a wide variety of partnered and break-away non-partnered moves, whilst understanding how the charleston should look and feel.

Whilst you can book with a partner, this is not essential, as everyone will have the opportunity to rotate, throughout the day.

Cost: £25
