This workshop has been organised by popular demand !!
It is designed for dancers at ANY level wishing to learn authentic and creative partnered 20's charleston moves, this workshop will be fun, energetic and challenging.

This exciting 20's Charleston, has seen a popular revival worldwide. It's fun and very easy to learn and has lots of steps that can be added to your current repertoire.

The Charleston dance became very popular during the Ragtime-Jazz period, and was danced by movie stars such as Joan Crawford and Ginger Rogers, however we understand that it's roots are in African dance.

The Black Bottom, was as popular as the Charleston, more often seen done by Josephine Baker and got it's name from the black kids, seeing the cows stuck in Mud

By the end of this workshop, you will learn a wide variety of partnered , break-away and solo 20's Charleston & Black Bottom moves, whilst understanding the authenic look, feel and the techniques to execute them in social dancing.

Joseph & Trisha also teach other workshops around the UK and Europe. Workshops are a great way to gain accelerated learning, as group sizes tend to be small and you gain up to four hours of nearly one-to-one tuition.
